Keeping your Data Safe and Secure

For many, keeping your personal data safe and secure is the most important part of owning a computer.

These are commonly used as a means of storing and moving documents, photos, and videos, but can also be used for bigger files.

Finally, we have the Cloud. The Cloud takes and uploads your data to a secure location. This allows you to not only have a backup of your data but also gives you a means of accessing that data from different devices, such as you’re smartphone or tablet. The main advantage of this is not only is your data encrypted when uploaded; there is no physical media to worry about. In the event of a disaster for example, such as a flood, your data is safe.

Many people choose to utilize as many of these options as they can. Having more than one backup is a sure-fire way of ensuring that even if one of your backup devices fails, you always have something you can fall back on.
